Damon Robert Williams (He/Him) is a Singer, Actor, and Dancer from sunny Huntington Beach, California. Growing up Damon always had an interest in the world of theater and film after appearing as the Zoo Keeper in his 2nd grade classes production of The Frog Princess Continued (Hi Mrs. Zietius!!). Although Damon loved the arts, he grew up a competitive swimmer and a proud Huntington Beach Junior Lifeguard. He dreamed of being an ocean lifeguard until he received Wicked tickets for Christmas at age 15. As soon as the Wicked overture started, he was in tears and was quite literally sobbing for the entire 2 and a half hours of Wicked. From that moment on Damon knew that he was meant to be on stage for the rest of his life. He dreamed of being able to tell a story that allowed people to escape from their personal lives for a few hours, but also to spark conversations within themselves to have a deeper understanding of themselves, the world around them, and their impact on others.
Damon eventually decided to put competitive swimming and lifeguarding to rest and to pursue his new dream of being a working actor on Broadway. In March 2018, Damon committed to Syracuse University’s BFA in Musical Theater program where he studied singing, acting, and dancing and graduated in May 2022.
In January 2022, Damon moved to New York City to finish his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from Syracuse University and to continue pursuing his dream of performing on Broadway. When he is not working or auditioning, he is often eating his way through the West Village with his boyfriend Justin, playing with his dog Ozzy, or relaxing at home binge watching a new series. If he is visiting family in California you can find him in the surf lineup with friends, frequently walking the Bolsa Chica Wetlands, or sitting around a fire with his family. Damon is loving the life he is building in NYC and he cannot wait for what is to come.
